My firsttrip to the Himalayas

My sister and I always dreamt of experiencing the Himalayas in person since we were kids. After years of persuasion, we finally convinced our Indian parents to let us travel alone and explore Mussoorie - a cosy town nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Both of us, my sister and I had our images in our minds because we had seen them a thousand times on our Insta pages while scrolling through them. But, the moment we landed at the Dehradun airport, we both knew that what we were seeing was beyond our imagination- obviously in a very good way.

We took a car to Mussoorie from Dehradun airport, and that was probably the best day of our lives as we were awestruck by the beauty of the Himalayas. I still don't have good enough adjectives to describe the overwhelming feeling of seeing the Himalayas for the first time. Those four days of living at around 6500 feet high went by so quickly. We felt like we were living in a dream. The views, the food, the clouds, the steep roads, the height when we looked down - everything was no less than a vivid dream. Till today, when I look at the photos, it still feels like a dream that I want to live again and again and again. My sister and I eagerly await the golden moment to relive that reverie again.
